Martin Clarke has been involved in Social Work since qualifying in 1980, until retiring from full-time work in September 2022, in order to devote his time to delivering training on FASD. During his career, he worked for the NSPCC, Derbyshire SSD, Action for Children, Northamptonshire SSD, and TACT, a fostering charity.  He is a father of 2 wonderful children, the youngest of whom was adopted.
